When an authorized user requests AI-assisted functionality, relevant information available to that user may be transmitted to an AI service provider, including OpenAI, for processing and generation of the requested output.
Plority does not use Brief Me to change a user’s underlying access rights. AI-assisted outputs are intended to reflect information the requesting user is otherwise authorized to access through Plority.
AI-generated information may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by users before being relied upon for important business decisions.
Plority does not represent AI-generated output as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other specialized advice.

Plority does not sell personal information.
We do not operate a business model based on selling customer or user personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties.
We may disclose information to service providers and other parties as described in this Privacy Policy when necessary to operate the Services or fulfill legitimate business and legal purposes.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Plority and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website and application, maintain sessions, remember preferences, understand website and product usage, improve performance, and support security.
The technologies used may change as the Services develop. Where required by applicable law, Plority will provide appropriate choices regarding nonessential cookies or similar technologies.
9. Data Access and Permissions
Plority provides Company-level access controls intended to help Companies determine which authorized users may access particular information.
The customer Company is responsible for assigning appropriate user roles, permissions, and access within its account.
Plority personnel do not routinely review customer Business Charts for their substantive content. Plority may access information when reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain or secure the Services, investigate misuse, comply with law, or otherwise operate the Services consistent with our agreements and this Privacy Policy.
10. Data Retention, Cancellation, and Export
While a subscription is active, Plority generally retains Company Data as necessary to provide the Services.
Following cancellation of a Company subscription, Plority generally retains the Company’s data for 90 days from the effective date of cancellation. This retention period allows a Company to reactivate its service and recover its existing information during that period.
During the 90-day post-cancellation retention period, an authorized representative of the Company may contact hello@plority.com to request an export of the Company’s available data.
Data export is provided upon request following cancellation and is not currently offered as an unrestricted self-service export function.
After the 90-day retention period expires, Company Data may be permanently deleted from active Plority systems and may no longer be recoverable, subject to limited exceptions required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate obligations.
Plority may retain aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify an individual or customer Company.
11. Security
Plority uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Access to information within Plority is governed by account roles, permissions, and other access controls.
No electronic system or method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users and Companies are also responsible for maintaining the security of their credentials and appropriately administering access to their Company Account.
12. Prohibited Health and Patient Information
Plority is not a HIPAA-compliant service and is not designed or offered for the storage or processing of Protected Health Information (“PHI”).
Users must not enter, upload, store, or process PHI or patient-specific medical, clinical, behavioral health, treatment, diagnosis, or similar protected healthcare information through Plority.
Plority’s origins or use within healthcare-related business operations should not be interpreted as authorization to use Plority for patient care documentation or regulated health information.
Customer Companies are responsible for the information their users enter into the Services and for ensuring that their use of Plority complies with applicable laws and contractual obligations.
Plority does not routinely inspect Company Data to determine whether users have entered prohibited information. If Plority becomes aware that prohibited information has been entered into the Services, Plority may take reasonable action consistent with its Terms of Service and applicable law.
13. Children
Plority is a business service and is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly offer user accounts directly to children or knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration.
Customer Companies are responsible for ensuring that information they enter into Plority is collected and processed lawfully.
14. Legal and Safety Disclosures
Plority may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process;
respond to lawful governmental requests;
protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Plority, our customers, users, or others;
investigate fraud, security incidents, or misuse;
enforce our agreements; or
establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If Plority undergoes a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
15. Privacy Rights
Depending on where an individual resides and applicable law, the individual may have rights relating to personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
Requests may be submitted to hello@plority.com.
Plority may need to verify the identity or authority of the person making a request before fulfilling it. Certain information may be exempt from a request under applicable law.
Where Plority processes personal information solely on behalf of a customer Company, individuals may need to direct certain requests to that Company.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Plority and applicable legal requirements evolve.
When we make changes, we will update the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Services, by email, or by other appropriate means.
